Reporting a problem with a report
Most reports we investigate turn out to hinge on one address, so the faster we can pin down which property you were looking at, the faster we can tell you what happened. Sending these four things with the first email usually removes an entire round trip:
- The report URL, or the full address including the Eircode.
- What you expected, and what you saw. A valuation you consider wrong is useful to us; “the report looks off” is not something we can act on.
- Anything you know that we do not. A recent extension, a converted attic, or a sale that has not reached the Property Price Register will all move a number.
- A screenshot, if the problem is visual.
If the underlying data is wrong rather than the analysis, we correct it at source. A verified correction is recorded against the property itself, so the next time we re-scrape the listing it cannot quietly reintroduce the same error. Choose Correction above and give us the address and what is wrong.

Chrome extension issues
The BuyerIQ extension runs on Daft.ie and MyHome.ie listing pages. When it fails, it is almost always because a portal changed its page markup, so the listing URL is the single most useful thing you can send.
- The Daft.ie or MyHome.ie URL where the problem occurred.
- Whether the panel failed to appear at all, or appeared with wrong or missing figures.
- Your browser and version, if you are not on current Chrome.
Send these using the form above under Product support. Portal markup changes affect every user at once, so a single good report usually fixes the extension for everybody.

What we cannot help with
We would rather say this plainly than have you wait on a reply that was never going to come. BuyerIQ is an analytics service, not a party to your transaction, so there are things we are not able to do:
- We cannot value a property formally. A lender, a court or the Revenue will require a valuation from a registered valuer or surveyor. Our estimate is not one and cannot be substituted for one.
- We cannot advise on your mortgage or your bid. We publish the evidence and the analysis; the decision, and the advice around it, belong to you and your professionals.
- We cannot put you in touch with a seller or an agent. We do not list property and hold no relationship with any agent.
- We cannot remove a property from the public record. Sale prices come from the Property Price Register, published by the Property Services Regulatory Authority. If you believe an entry there is wrong, it must be corrected with the PSRA at source.
