BuyerIQ uses only essential cookies required for the service to function. We do not use any marketing, advertising, or tracking cookies.
1. What Cookies We Use
We use a minimal set of strictly necessary cookies for authentication. These are set by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth) when you sign in:

These cookies are required for sign-in to work. They contain encrypted session tokens and do not store any personal information directly. If you are not signed in, no cookies are set.
2. What We Do Not Use
- No marketing cookies. We do not run any advertising.
- No tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cookie-based tracking.
- No third-party cookies. No external services set cookies on buyeriq.ie.
3. Analytics Without Cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, EU-hosted analytics service. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across sites. It is fully GDPR-compliant without requiring a cookie banner.
4. Managing Cookies
Since we only use essential authentication cookies, disabling them will prevent you from signing in. You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data
You can also clear cookies for buyeriq.ie specifically, which will sign you out of your account.
5. Why No Cookie Banner?
Under the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented in Irish law), cookie consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary for the service the user has requested. Since BuyerIQ only uses essential authentication cookies and cookieless analytics, a consent banner is not required.
